HOW IT WORKS:Prolate/Lintox-HD is a liquid product that kills pests on contact. Diluted and used as a spray or in a backrubber, it provides effective treatment of flies, lice, mange mites and ticks on cattle. Prolate/Lintox-HD also can be used as a spray for treatment of swine with lice or sarcoptic mange infestations.

Application sites:Following appropriate label instructions, apply diluted product directly to beef and nonlactating dairy cattle as a spray or backrubber treatment. For swine, apply only as a dilute spray solution.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN/VETERINARIAN: Probablemucosal damage may contraindicate the use ofgastric lavage. PROLATE/LINTOX-HD is anorganophosphate insecticide and a cholinesteraseinhibitor. If signs of cholinesterase inhibition arepresent, atropine is antidotal. 2-PAM is also antidotaland may be administered in conjunction withatropine. If ingested, do not induce vomiting. Maypresent aspiration hazard. Usual symptoms oforganophosphate poisoning in humans include:headache, blurred vision, weakness, nausea,discomfort in the chest, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, salivation, swelling, pin-point pupils. Usual symptoms of poisoning in animals include: salivation, labored breathing, gastrointestinal disturbance, tremors, staggering, and pin-point pupils.
