DESCRIPTION: HIGHWAY WARNING LIGHT\t\t\tMODEL HWL-150 (FLASHING)
DIRECTIONS: To install battery, remove the three screws holding HWL lid to battery case. Install good 6 volt spring terminal battery such as Eveready #509 or equivalent.Replace HWL lid and be sure the three (3) screws are tight. DO NOT force screws as this will strip threads. Spring terminals on battery will automatically make correct contact with HWL battery connections when lid is replaced. Turn HWL on with push-button switch. HWL will immediately start flashing and is now ready for use. If HWL fails to flash, check to make sure that spring terminals on battery are making contact with P.C. Board on HWL lid. Gently pull up on spring terminals so that they will make firm contact. Battery terminals must contact P.C. Board on lid or HWL will not operate. INSTALLATION: The HWL is furnished with bayonet mounting bracket and one mounting socket. Additional mounting sockets are available at low cost. Install one mounting socket on each piece of equipment that will be used on highway. Mounting socket should be located as high as possible on equipment for increased visibility. The HWL is easily transferable from one vehicle to another. No troublesome cables to connect or wires to string. Lens housing rotates 360 degrees for positive light direction. DO NOT face red to front of vehicle as flashing red light indicates emergency vehicle and Is against the law in many areas. Always face amber to front and red to rear of vehicle.Should light stop flashing check both battery and bulb to make sure they are in proper working order. Do not use the HWL if damaged or not operating properly. Should service be necessary return HWL to factory for prompt, courteous service.
