DESCRIPTION: (bar vac)BarVac 7. Clostridium Chauvoei-Septicum-Novyi-Sordelli Perfringens Types C & D bacterin-Toxoid. 50 ml contains 10 cattle doses or 20 sheep doses. 250 ml contains 50 cattle doses or 100 sheep doses.

COMPOSITION: Prepared from cultures of the organisms listed. Alum precipitated.

DOSAGE: Cattle-Using aseptic technique, inject 5 ml subcutaneously. Repeat in 21 to 28 days and once annually. Sheep-Using aseptic technique, inject 2.5 ml subcutaneously. Repeat in 21 to 28 days and once annually.

INDICATIONS: Recommended for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible cattle and sheep against disease caused by Clostridium chauvoei, Cl septicum, Cl novyi, Cl sordelli and Clostridium perfringens Types c and D. Although Cl perfringens is not a significant problem in the USA, immunity may be provided against the beta and epsilon toxins elaborated by Clostridium perfringens Type B. This immunity is derived from the combination of Type C (beta) and Type D (epsilon)

PRECAUTIONS: Store out of direct sunlight at a temperature between 35 degrres F to 45 degrees F (2-7 degrees C) Avoid freezing. Shake well before use. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur.

ANTIDOTE: Administer epinephrine.
