For the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia in baby pigs. A sterile solution containing 100 mg. of elemental iron per ml. Prevention, 1 ml. IM per pig on or before 3 days of age. Treatment 1 to 2 ml. IM as soon as symptoms appear.

DESCRIPTION: Anemx100-(Iron Hydrogenated Dextran) Hematinic 100ml
INGREDIENTS: Each ml of sterile solution contains 100mg of elemental iron stabilized with a low molecular weight hydrogenated dextran and 0.5% phenol as a preservative. For the prevention and treatment of anemia due to iron deficiency in baby pigs.
DIRECTIONS: For intramuscular injection only. Prevention: 1 ml (100mg iron) at 2 to 4 days of age. Treatment: 1 ml (100mg iron). Treatment may be repeated in 10 days. Organic iron preparations injected intramuscularly into pigs beyond 4 weeks of age may cause staining of muscle tissue. See accompanying leaflet for additional information.
WARNINGS: Store at controlled room temperature between 15-30 C (59-86 F) Protect from freezing.
