DESCRIPTION: Harness for training foals to lead. For use on weanlings up to 6 months old. Girth strap is 60 inches from end to end when laid flat; center section with 1/4 inch thick pad is 28 inches long. Girth strap is 3 inches wide in center section with pad, 2 inches wide on straps. Has a 12 inch long Velcro section to adjust to different sizes. Butt strap is 51 inches long when laid open; not including rings. Butt strap has 1/2 thick padding by 3 inches wide in center; by 28 inches long. Straps are 16 inches long by 2 inches wide with a 12 inch Velcro section. Y strap , which goes from the halter to the butt strap. The 2 side straps are 25-1/2 inches long (including snaps) by 3/4 inches wide. Center safety strap on y strap is 20 inches long by 3/4 inches wide. Color on all is black with the padding in white on both the girth strap and the butt strap.
DIRECTIONS: Step 1: Wrap the girth strap around the horse and secure with Velcro. It does not have to be real tight. Step 2: Push the D ring of the y strap through the ring of your halter and snap the safety strap to the halter ring Step 3: Adjust the butt strap to an estimated size to go through the loop on the girth strap, remembering it has to go over the horse's butt. Pull ends of straps back through the buckles to prevent slippage. Rest the butt strap on the horses back. Step 4: Connect the snaps on the y strap to the D rings on the butt strap on each side. Gently push the butt strap over the butt. Make sure the butt strap is adjusted so that the safety strap is not pulled tight. You are ready to walk on!
