TETANUS TOXOID Concentrated. Colorado Serum. Formalin detoxified Tetanus toxin for the prevention of tetanus. Contains thimerosal as a preservative.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: For primary immunization two doses should be administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly approximately 30 days apart. Use intramuscularly for horses as local reactions are more likely to occur if injected subcutaneously. Horses or Cattle: 1 ml. dose. Sheep, goats, swine: 0.5 ml dose. Annually, a single “Booster” vaccination is recommended.

PRECAUTIONS: Do not vaccinate “meat” animals within 21 days before slaughter. Anaphylactoid reaction sometimes follows administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenalin or equivalent.

OTHER INFORMATION: A transitory local reaction may occur at injection site. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Store in the dark at 2 to 7 degrees C. Contains thimerosal as a preservative. Tetanus Toxoid concentrate is available in single dose size packaged 10 vials to the carton and in 10 dose vials.
