DOSAGE – Mix the recommended feeding level in the chart below forthe body weight of your horse in the daily ration. Do not exceed. A levelSOURCE measure (included) holds three teaspoons. Body Weight: 750lbs. 3 tsp (1 Tbsp) =one level measure. 1,000 lbs, 4 tsp = one heapingmeasure (1/2 oz.). 1,500 lbs, 6 tsp = two measures. 2,000 lbs, 8 tsp = twoheaping measures. 1/2 oz. per day is recommended for an average maturehorse (15.3 hh, 1,000 lbs. body weight), even under the stresses of hardtraining, late pregnancy and lactation or breeding. Adjust the amount forbody weight (less for ponies, more for draft horses). We recommendgradually increasing the amount fed to weanlings and yearlings to thesame amount they will get when mature (based on estimated mature body weight), because of the increases nutritional demands of growth
