SOLE PACK. Hoof packing paste for horses. *INGREDIENTS: Active ingredients: Pine Tar 588, 38.12% W/W. Potassium Iodide, 1.30% W/W. Iodine, 1.82% W/W.*INDICATIONS: Antifungal, antiseptic, emollient paste for use as a therapeutic hoof packing for horses. In individual dose packs, convenient, easy to use: as an aid in the relief of dry, hard, sore feet; as an aid in controlling local bacterial and fungal infections; as an aid in maintaining hoof pliability which helps to allow expansion and contraction of the foot. *DIRECTIONS: Open the protective bag and remove a Sole Pack treatment pad enclosed in its cushioned treatment wrap. For use with leather or synthetic pads: Clean the foot and trim the hoof. Unfold the ends of the cushioned treatment wrap and position the sole pack treatment pad in the foot. Use fingers to work the paste into cavities. Remove the cushioned treatment wrap. Apply pad and shoe on the hoof. For bandage applications: Clean the foot. Unfold the ends of the cushioned treatment wrap and position the sole pack treatment pad in the foot. Use fingers to work the paste into cavities. Fold the ends of the cushioned treatment wrap smoothly over the hoof wall and bandage normally or cover the hoof with a polypropylene boot. The sole pack cushioned treatment wrap forms an additional barrier against contamination and leaves no mess on your hands. *DURATION OF TREATMENT: Sole pack hoof packing paste may be left in place overnight for up to 18 hours. At that time, remove packing and re-examine the foot. New sole pack hoof packing paste may be applied daily until all signs of infection have disappeared or until the desired hoof pliability has been restored. After this, the use of Sole pack Hoof Packing Paste may be continued two or three times per week. The total duration of treatment should not exceed six weeks. *STORAGE: Store at room temperature 20-25 degrees C (66-77 degrees F). Keep away from direct sunlight. *WARNINGS: For veterinary use only.
