DESCRIPTION: Calf Supplement - MR Type B Medicated Feed. As an aid in the prevention or treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours)

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Oxytetracycline HCL--.3.2 grams/lb; Neomycin.6.4 grams/lb

DIRECTIONS: Mix Scours Control Concentrate with feed ingredients to make a Type C medicated milk replacer as follows.Prevention of bacterial enteritis: Mix one half jar (1.67 pounds or 26.7 ounces) of Scour Control with 50 pounds of dry, non-medicated milk replacer or feed ingredients to form a Type C medicated milk replacer (complete feed) containing 100 mg/lb. Oxytetracycline hydrochloride and 200 mg/lb neomycin base which is equivalent to 200 g/ton oxytetracycline hydrochloride activity and 400 g/ton neomycin base. Feed the Type C feed as a complete ration by reconstituting 1 lb. Of powder with 1 gallon of water to provide 100 milligrams of oxytetracycline plus 200 ml of neomycin base per gallon of milk replacer.Treatment of Bacterial Enteritis: Mix one jar of Scours control with 50 lbs of dry, non-medicated milk replacer or feed ingredients to form a Type C medicated milk replacer containing 200mg/lb. Oxytetracycline and 400 mg/lb of neomycin which is the equivalent to 400g/ton oxytetracycline activity and 800 g/ton of nyomycin.Feed the Type C feed as a complete ration by reconstituting 1 lb of powder with 1 gallon of water to provide 200 mg of oxytetracycline plus 400 mg of neomycin per gallon of milk replacer.
