Single Dose now in a tube! For use in calves or lambs. An oral vaccination for the prevention of colibacillosis caused by Escherichia Coli in newborn calves. For prevention use only. Calves:give 10 ml. orally to each calf as soon as possible after birth. Lambs: 2 ml orally as soon as possible after birth. Should be administered with in 12 hours after birth.

Indications: Recommended for the prevention of colibacillosis caused by K99 strains of Escherichia coli in newborn calves and lambs. Bar-Guard-99™ antibody product is also effective when administered in the early stages of infection characterized by mild diarrhea but no dehydration or depression.
Dosage: Colostrum should be fed to the animal prior to administration of Bar-Guard-99. Calves: Using aseptic technique, administer 10 mL orally as soon as possible after birth. For optimal results Bar-Guard-99 should be administered within 12 hours after birth and preferably within 6 hours of birth. Bar-Guard-99 may also be administered within 8 hours of exposure, not to exceed 20 hours of age.Lambs: Using aseptic technique, administer 2 mL orally as soon as possible after birth. Bar-Guard-99 should be administered within 12 hours after birth and preferably within 6 hours of birth.
Precautions: For oral use only. Store out of direct sunlight at a temperature between 35 - 45?F (2 - 7?C). Avoid freezing. Shake well and use immediately. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not administer within 21 days before slaughter. The efficacy of the product may be reduced if administered to calves showing signs of severe diarrhea, mild dehydration and depression. The product is not effective against diarrhea caused by infectious agents other than K99 strains of Escherichia coli. As a good management practice, colostrum should be administered to calves and lambs as soon as possible after birth.
