DESCRIPTION: Atgardc8- Atgard (dichlorvos) Swine Wormer Type A Medicated Article
INGREDIENTS: Active Ingredient: Dichlorvos 9.6% Inactive Ingredients: Stabilized polyvinyl chloride/plasticizer resin pellet with a coating of talc, natural carbohydrates and resin 90.4%
INDICATIONS: For the removal and control of mature, immature and/or fourth state larvae of the whipworm(Trichuris suis), nodular worm(oesophagostomum sp.) large roundworm(Ascaris suum) and thick stomach worm(Ascarops strongylina) occurring in the gastrointestinal tracts of pigs, boars, open or bred gilts and sows. Mixing and Feeding : Atgard C can be mixed in meal or crumble feeds after crumbles have been manufactured. Do not mix in feeds to be pelleted nor with pelleted feed. Individual Rations: Each package of Atgard C (dichlorvos) Swine Wormer contains a plastic scoop. A level scoop holds 15.2 grams Atgard C(1460 mg dichlorvos), the recommended dewormer dosage for swine over 70 lbs. To worm1 open or bred gilt or sow, boar, or pig from 70 lbs to market weight, thoroughly mix one level scoop of Atgard C into the usual daily ration of each animal. After the allotted medicated feed has been consumed, resume feeding regular rations. This package contains sufficient Atgard C (dichlorvos) Swine Wormer to individually deworm 239 sows. CAUTION: There is no pre-slaughter withdrawal period when used at the recommended dosage level.
WARNINGS: Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with skin. Atgard C is a cholinesterase inhibitor. If human or animal poisoning should occur, immediately consult a physician or a veterinarian. Atropine is antidotal.. Medicated feed containing Atgard C must bear the following statements: NOTE: Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism. DO NOT use in animals other than swine. DO NOT mix in feed to be pelleted nor with pelleted feed. (Required only on medicated feed supplements.) Do Not allow fowl access to this feed or to feces from treated animals. DO NOT soak feed or feed as wet mash. Feed must be fed dry. Dichlorvos is a cholinesterase inhibitor. DO NOT use this product in animals simultaneously or within a few days before or after treatment with or exposure to cholinesterase inhibiting drugs, pesticides, or chemicals. If human or animal poisoning should occur immediately consult a physician or veterinarian. Atropine is antidotal. DO NOT reuse any of the containers or container materials used in packaging (product). All packaging materials must be destroyed after (product) has been used.
