INGREDIENTS: Dibasic Potassium Phosphate, Glycine, Sodium Bicarbonate, Calcium Lactate, Magnesium Gluconate, Citric Acid, Dextrose, Sucrose, Lactose, Fructose, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Flavor and color additives. \n
INDICATIONS FOR USE: administer Bluelite in the water or feed whenever pigs are dehydrated or show evidence of shrink (loss of body weight) as a result of stress associated with weaning, sorting and handling.\n
STORAGE: store in a dry room at temperatures between 4 c and 30 c(40 F-86 f) Once bag is opened, seal bag with tape or binder and place unused portion of Bluelite in a dry air sealable container.\n
PRE CAUTION: pigs showing symptoms of coma, shock or too weak and dehydrated to eat and drink normally should be treated as directed a veterinarian. This product is not nutritionally complete if administered by itself for long periods of time. It should not be administered beyond the recommended period without the addition of milk or milk replacers in young pigs. \n
DIRECTIONS: WATER ADMINISTRATION: (A) Administration Bluelite in the drinking water for pigs showing signs of dehydration, shrink or loss in body weight such as after weaning or newly purchased feeder pigs for 5-7 days or until pigs are consuming their normal amount of feed ration. (B) Administer Bluelite in the drinking water in one of the following ways: 1. One once (3 Level tablespoons) of BLUELITE powder for each 4 gallons of drinking water. 2. or one cup BLUELITE powder for each 24 gallons of drinking water. 3. One pound (2-1/2 cups) of BLUELITE powder for each 64 gallons of drinking water. 4. STOCK SOULUTION- mix 2 pounds or 5 cups of BLUELITE powder in enough water to make one gallon of stock solution. Administer one ounce of stock solution to each gallon of drinking water. FEED MIXING: add one bag- 6 pounds-(2.72 kg) of BLUELITE to each ton of complete swine feed. Keep Bluelite in the feed or ration for 7 days or until pigs no longer show signs of dehydration or shrink, or feed intake has returned to normal.\n
WATER INTAKE: a. Pigs normally consume between 8-12 percent of their body weight in water, depending upon temperature, stress and disease. B. Water weighs about 8.33 pounds per gallon. C.
