Deiceuph15-Universal Drain Plug Deicer
Product Description: Fits all Behlen, Freeland, Rubbermaid, Applegate and other tanks on the market. Unit is unnoticed by livestock no cord in the water. Specially designed power cord fits through the small drain plug openings. Thermostatically Controlled operates only when the temperature reaches freezing. Easy to install within minutes. Has a one year warranty. Coil is about 8 inches long from the holder. Cord is about 65 inches long.
DIRECTIONS: Instructions for metal tank installation. Metal stock tanks require ONLY the removal of the drain plug for proper installation. Step 1: Remove the Drain Plug from the tank. Save the drain plug for future use. Step 2: Install the deicer with the attached black washer through the drain plug hole from the inside of the tank. Step 3: Align the deicer with the heating element facing upward as illustrated on the front panel the box. (Note "UP ARROW" on unit.) Step 4: Hand tighten the notched out black nut onto the deicers threads on the outside of the tank while holding the deicer in place on the inside of the tank. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE NUT OR ATTEMPT TO ADJUST THE UNIT AFTER THE NUT IS TIGHTENED INTO PLACE.
DIRECTIONS FOR PLASTIC TANKS: Some plastic stock tanks require the removal of the Entire Drain Plug Assembly for proper installation.. Proceed to step 1a. Some plastic stock tanks require Only the removal of the Drain Plug for proper installation. Proceed to step 1b.Step 1a: Remove the entire Drain Plug Assembly from the tank. Note: This is the complete assembly, not the drain plug itself. Save the entire Drain Plug Assembly for future use. Step 1b: Remove the Drain Plug from the tank. Save the Drain Plug for future use. Step 2: Install the deicer with the attached black washer through the drain plug assembly hole, or the drain plug hole, from the inside of the tank. Step 3: Align the deicer with the heating element facing upward as illustrated on the front panel of the box. (Note "UP ARROW" on the unit. Step 4: Hand tighten the notched out black nut onto the deicers threads on the outside of the tank while holding the deicer in place on the inside of the tank. Warranty: Guaranteed for 3 years after the original date of purchase or date stamped on the unit against defects due to materials and the company's workmanship only. The sole obligation shall be to replace the defective unit with a replacement unit. Units should be "checked for proper operation" prior to returning as defective. Units must be returned prepaid.
