VETISULID INJECTION, SODIUM SULFACHLORPYRIDAZINE INJECTION (broad-spectrum antibacterial)
INDICATIONS: Treatment of diarrhea caused or complicated by e. coli (colibacillosis).
INGREDIENTS: Each ml of aqueous solution provides 215 mg (21.5%) sodium sulfachlorpyridazine (equiv. To 200 mg sulfachlorpyridazine). 16 mg benzly alcohol, and sodium hydroxide to adjust the PH
CAUTION: I F SYMPTOMS PERSIST FOR 2 OR 3 DAYS, DIAGNOSIS SHOULD BE RECONFIRMED.
DOSAGE: 30 to 45 mg sulfachlorpyridazine per lb of body weight daily, in two divided doses, for 1 to 5 days. (Administer 1 ml for each 10 lbs of body weight morning and night.)
WARNINGS: Treatment, ruminating calves must not be slaughtered for food during treatment and for 5 days after the last treatment. A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in calves to be processed for veal.
