An aid in the treatment of thrush – a horse disease characterized by a thick, black, four-smelling discharge. Clean hoof thoroughly and apply to the hoof using application spout. THRUSH-XX (copper naphthenate): For use in treatment of thrush in horses and ponies. Water resistant protection without bandaging. *INGREDIENTS: Active ingredient: Copper Naphthenate, 37.5%. Inert Ingredients: 62.5%. Total, 100%. *INDICATIONS: As an aid in the treatment of thrush in horses due to organisms susceptible to Copper Naphthenate. Thrush is a disease of horses’ hoofs characterized by a thick, black, foul-smelling discharge. *DIRECTIONS: Clean the hoof thoroughly by removing debris and necrotic material prior to application of Thrush-XX. A narrow paint brush (about 1” in diameter) may be used to assure thorough coverage. Apply Thrush-XX daily. Use the product as follows: 1. Remove cap. 2. With sharp instrument, punch a small hole in metal seal. 3. Replace with applicator cap; screw it down tightly. 4. Loosen nozzle a small amount. 5. Invert bottle and squeeze gently, using nozzle to regulate the flow of fluid. Shake well be for using. Note: Thrush-XX is easily removed from hands, clothing, and surfaces with a light grade fuel oil or any type of lighter fluid. *WARNINGS: For external use only. Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children. For veterinary use only. Do not contaminate feed. Avoid contact around eyes. For use on horses and ponies only. Do not allow excess Thrush-XX to run off and contact hair. Contact may result in hair loss. This drug is not to be administered to horses that are to be slaughtered for use as food.
