Morantel Tartrate. A broad-spectrum anthelmintic that effectively eliminates the major internal nematode parasites of cattle. Unlike all other single dose cattle dewormers, Rumatel may be administered to lactating dairy cattle with no milk withholding. Thus, dairy cattle may be treated with Rumatel at any time, whether dry, pregnant, or lactating. Dosage 0.1 pound per 100 pounds of body weight. Also labeled for dairy goats.

RUMATEL CATTLEDEWORMER(MORANTEL TARTRATE) medicated:
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Morantel Tartrate…….0.97% (4.4g/lb)
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use as a single therapeutic treatment by feeding 0.1 pound (0.44 g morantel tartrate) of medicated ration per 100 pounds of body weight. May be fed as the sole ration, or mixed with 1 or 2 parts of complete feed or as a top dressing. When used as top dress the medication as well as the underlying feed should be evenly distributed. Group cattle of goats by size for optimum efficacy. Fresh water should be available at all times. When medicated feed is all consumed, resume normal feeding. Conditions of constant worm exposure may require retreatment within 2 weeks. Consult your Veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment and control of parasitism.
CATTLE: For the removal and control of mature gastrointestinal nematode infections of cattle including stomach worms (Haemonchus spp, Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp.), worms of the small intestine (Cooperia spp. Trichostrongylus spp., Nematodirus spp.) and worms of the large intestine (Oesophagostomum radiatum).
GOATS: For the removal and control of mature gastrointestinal nematode infections of goats including Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia ( Telasorsagia) circumcinta, and Trichostrongylus axei.
CAUTION: Consult Veterinarian before using in severely debilitated animals. Do not mix in feeds containing bentonite.
