BASIC MIXING DIRECTIONS: Enclosed measure holds 6 oz. (170 grams) by weight. Dissolve 1 measure of dry Electrolytes Plus in 2 quarts of warm water. Stir to dissolve completely. Feed from an open pail, nipple pail, or nursing bottle. If feeding from a nursing bottle shake well before using.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS FOR CALVES Average Body weight of 100-lbs.:--For calfs with Moderate need of supplement dextrose, electrolytes and fluids: Feed 2 quarts mixed Electrolytes Plus twice daily for two days, spacing feedings evenly between milk or milk replacer feedings. Return calf to usual diet offering a reduced quanity at first and supplement with mixed Electrolytes Plus as needed.
For calves with greater need of Supplement dextrose, Electrolytes and fluids: Feed 2 quarts of mixed Electrolytes Plus 3 times daily for 2 consecutive days, spacing feedings by 4-6 hour intervals. Return to usual diet after this, offering a reduced quantity at first and supplement with mixed Electrolytes Plus as needed.
Calves just brought in and requiring supplemental dextrose, Electrolytes and fluids: Feed mixed Electrolytes Plus for the first feeding in place of your regular milk or milk replacer feeding program.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS FOR LAMBS and kids: Feed mixed Electrolytes Plus at rate of 100cc (3.5fl oz.) per5-lbs body weight. Feed from nipple bottle, tube or normal feeder 2 to 3 times daily allowing 6 to 8 hours between feedings for two days.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS FOR FOALS: Feed mixed Electrolytes Plus at rate of 2 quarts per 100 pounds of body weight 2 to 4 times daily for two days. Feed from an open pail.
FEEDING DIRECTION FOR HORSES: TO SUPPLY SUPPLEMENT ELECTORLYTES AND ENERGY, MIX electrolytes Plus at the rate of 3 ounces per gallon and feed ad-lib Make fresh solution daily.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS FOR PIGS, FOR BABY PIGS STILL WITH SOW: feed mixed electrolytes Plus ad-libitum for 24 to 48 hours using a suitable feeder. Electrolytes Plus can also be a source of supplemental energy, electrolytes and nutrients for pigs that are weaning . Feed ad-lib using a suitable feeder for a 12 hour period at the basic rate, or mix at the rate of 3 ounces per gallon (and feed ad-lib for as long as desired. Make fresh solution daily. For individual baby pigs who are in need of supplemental energy, electrolytes and fluids, but are not voluntarily consuming mixed Electrolytes Plus, this product may be administered as per the following directions by using a syringe with a small plastic tube (stomach tube), or a pump type doser bottle.
TO FEED WITH STOMACH TUBE: gently insert tube over piglet’s tongue. Piglet will swallow it, just guide it down. At 4-5 inches you will feed it past the valve at entrance of stomach. Allow 1-2 inches more and stop. Feed 10 to 15 cc’s (about1/2 fluid oz.) of mixed Electrolytes Plus 2 to 4 times with 3 to 6 hours between feedings. TO USE DOSER BOTTLE: Hold pig’s head parallel with the floor and carefully insert pump spout just inside the pig’s mouth. Slightly above center of tongue. Do not force product down throat. Inhalation of any foreign matter into lungs may cause pneumonia or suffocation. Feed at same rate and times as stomach tube method.
